hello everyone I heard of DA-IICT GANDHINAGAR........... Is it a good college and also pls can anyone give me the minimum marks required in AIEEE to get there.......

Dont go there next year it's going to come under guj cet and most faculty will leave the college check their orkut group

dear
what ambuj has mention I dont have any information but you can certainly check the orkut group . But its a good college and IT industry is booming so it will be good to join , But I must tell you its all about you who will get a job .

i checked up it up.. till 9 june 2007 it was not controlled by guj. govt. however there is a news/rumor that in near fututre it will be.
which means most of the people joining ( if guj. takes over) will be gujarati. BUt it hardly effects placements. infact it is better thing since u will have better chance to be on coz( avg gujarati is not good in engg. (except few)...trust me)

i must tell u that it was the lack of awareness
which lagged them behind n may be the reason is
less exposure but this doesnt mean they ll not do wel at engg
coz now awareness in guj is increasing.......
i will not say that its as good as in kota or delhi
but still ppl in guj r brainy n they do well when they
r given chance
u wont believe but more than 50% ppl who get addmission
in iit or through aieee 4M GUJ r gujarati medium students
of guj. board so don under estimate them
n yaa let me tell u that i m not a gujarati but the truth cannot
be denied
AND ABT THE INSTI.... ASK THE EXPERIENCED PPL
WELL I VE HEARD THAT THERE IS NOTHING LIKE GUJCET-BASED ADM. IN DAIICT........N WILL NOT BE IN THE NEAR FUTURE
i.e:- 5to 10yrs....
i think till then u ll pass out wid a gud job

Daiict is not AICTE approved so don't join it if you want to go abroad as your degree will not be recognised there.

DAIICT is a university n it is not required by a university to be affiliated to aicte....
its degree is recognised...

But pallavvyas , i m talking abt sisterconcern of AICTE, UGC.Actually u r correct, institutions require AICTE approval but universities don't require it.Universities require UGC approval whcih DAIICT doesn't have.So risky to join it right.

check the ugc site... serach for daiict under universities n u will find it...

he is right daiict is ugc approved but still court cases may ruin its future bcoz the controversey that a unviresity needs aicte recognition is still not solved
