Firstly , its CEE and not DCE (common negligence)

The CEE exam is of 720 marks. For rank 1 you need around 560 something (this year but it varies greatly each year). For rank 300 , you needed 420. For top 600-700 should be like 370 something(not sure abt this one). Problem is that though the questions are easy, paper is freaking lengthy. So, 1 of the subs might be severely left. So, speed as well as accuracy is needed.

You are talking about admission through AIEEE or CEE ?

Through CEE, there are a total of 700 something odd seats. To get the best available option , you should aim for top 250 rank which will get you into COE (comp) in NSIT.

You are mistaken. There is nothing called DCE paper !!! who told you this ?
There is a CEE paper which is of 720 marks and admission to DCE and NSIT is through this paper only which is held around 27th May. And rest I told in my earlier reply.
