I m a drop out candidate, and am also going to write BITS , this year.

I got79.7% in my class XII,CBSE.

As i was sufferring from malaria,

Can i get admission in BITS if my score is good.

Reply as soon as u can, will get rating.

I don't think there is any health criteria for admn into bits,

Anyway, forget your past and focus on your present to succeed in future!

The follwing the criterion of eligiblity for the BITSAT 2008 .. see if u match this

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

If u match this then there is no problem ..

Yes , as Puneet has correctly put it , you can take admission in BITS as long as your PCM aggregate is over 80%.But not , even if it is .1% below 80%

ya u gotta get exact 80% or above to get in bits..but u have mentioned only ur overall aggregate......u may be having more than 80% in PCM.....and 60 each in P,C AND M..........
