IIT JEE , AIEEE Forum - Institutes & Courses , Non IIT Institutes - EXPOSE VIT THRU RTI--- PLZ read this!!!

As we all are suffering form this VITism of crap ranks, we shud do something for this and the best way to know the secret behind their ranks is to approach RTI act(Right to Information act).

U must be knowing that last yr a student filed a complaint in RTI against IITs and only then IITs were compelled to disclose their cut-offs.

Now if IITs can be compelled by RTI to disclose their cut-offs, then what is VIT. If we all complain to RTI and ask VIT to atleast show us our marks, I think they will be compelled to do so.

PLZ take this post seriously. I am searching a way of electronic complaint. If U find any way of doing this, then PLZ take the initiative, complain immediately and post the way to complain here on goIIT also so that all of us can follow.

Although it is possible that many of you dont want to go to VIT but still, its our right to know where we went wrong and why we are getting such crap ranks and not what we deserve.

Even this they display the marks under RTI , what if they change our marks accordingly ?? we can't prove our expected marks !!

Hey, guys i dont think there is any such organisation to catch private universities......so lets better write to the newspaper...it ll be very effective..........but one thing is need\ed .....everyones hall ticket nos.are req so tht the newspaper can have the proof.........now plz every one post u r hall ticket and lets write to the paper....

dudes......i am absolutely with u all maan.......viteee is crap......heard of it and got to know it today........i know ppl who r expctng arnd 25-30 mrks lesser thn me but getting faar faar faar better ranks than me........the best thing that u can do and im sure evryone will endup doin. will be to care the damn abt this........jus. think that this college is jus. not good enuff for u to enter.........infact a few of my cousins in the insti. are telling mythat my decision of giving the entrance was a big mistake........it's an insti. that works on three things 1)money 2)money and 3)money.......so jus. chill.........thinking abt that shit of an institute is nothing but a sheer waste of time.......so jus. chill out and concentrate on bitsat preps. ........thats wat atleast im gonna do fellas.......

I & MY FRND EXPECTED EXACTLY EQUAL MARKS IN VITEEE 2008 BUT I HAV RECEIVED 9145 & HE HAS GOT SUMTHIN IN 7000........7666 exactly....

RTI doesn't cover private institutes and you can't base your allegations on unofficial answer keys obtained from 3rd party sources. Moreover unless there are marked discrepancies - such as IIT and AIEEE toppers getting 40000th rank in VITEEE, nothing can be proved. That being said, one wonders how they managed to allot over 160000 ranks in a 120 mark paper? Surely there must have been hundreds of students clashing on the same mark?
