Although d counselin has started but first of all the counselin is done for different categories ( such as SC/ST/armed forces ) n their seat alotmnt wont affect us . The counselin 4 d general category is 2 start from 2moro that is 12th july n they may provide the vacancy list frm 2moro ..

I have got 8156 rank frm Delhi Gen category .I think u might b rite,i 'll check site 2morrow.Ofcourse,For a rank of mine ,there r lot of uncertainities,hence Tension is inevitable.
Also,Post ur views on the kind of placements IPU offers,in what sort of colleges could one expect good placements.Acc to last years cutoff data- for my rank n above ,a seat was given in eee in guru tegh bahadur(gtbit) n a few other collegs .But not all of them are established .thts y i need to know which colleges r good enough in terms of faculty,placements ,infrastr.,etc,
See,Acc to u all if at all I get in Ansal,I'm afraid to join it bcoz its a new college after all --and I donot want to put my career at risk--the newly opened ones donot guarantee u of good placements and faculty.In this case ,What do u think I shud DO?My preferrences r CSE/IT/ECE.I'm really clueless of what to do!!IS there any alernative.Can yu suggest me some other good colleges in Delhi and NCR wherein I can get branches of my choice.

What i want know now is tht what best Can I get, out of the few good colleges in IPU ar my rank -These HMR,NIEC,Premsukh are not well established colleges in terms of placements ,faculty n infrastructure-Also ,none of the ipu collegs manage to get among the top 100 engg colleges of India in several surveys...Would it b wise enough to accept the offered seat in tht case?
firstly u will be called 4 attendence outside the hall ...
(*they will give u a file 2 attach ur documents)
then u have 2 verify ur document$ inside the auditorium...
after verification is over...
its turn 4 seat allotement,....
and mind it u will not get more than 5 sec...
sardarji (councellor) sitting thr will see ur prefernce sheet, and give desired stream wih available seats...
@piyush--There is link in the IPU site which provides the detailed list of current seats available n filled ones -coursewise.I have been following tht everyday.

c'mon ppl,
why dont u respond to something which is sensible and useful for someone?You guys reply to only non academic and silly discussions like rate the avatar and so on put up in this section by even more sillier ppl!!!,But give it a damn to answer questions sought seriously by some ppl like me.Its just not done.I have observed it many tiomes happening to me--I receive only 2-3 replies to my questions ,on the other hand ,those silly ques receive hundreds of replies.I mean to say tht this site has been opened up with some good intention.Kindly realize the same.
