hello i am amrit from malviya nagar,new delhi,i just want to ask if studying NCERT books in class XIIth will help us in AIEEE paper.if not plz suggest which books i should read for each subjects

Studying ncert will help u not only for AIEEE but also for IIT as it forms the basic foundations pretty stronfly

Hi Amrit, I studied NCERT books myself for my JEE way back in 1996-97. The books have been written for a very good understanding of the subjects. You must read NCERT books.
Apart from that, you can read the following books: Physics H C Verma (Part 1 and 2) Kumar and Mittal (Part 1 and 2)
Chemistry Comprehensive Chemistry (CBSE board) Organic Chemistry by Morrison Boyd Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J D Lee (check for the latest edition)
Maths CBSE board books Plane Trigonometry by S L Loney Elements of coordinate geometry by S L Loney Algebra by Hall and Knight

is it essential for one to study from the ncert? i mean after reffering books like resnick and halliday, is it really neccessary to go through the ncert text for physics?

Folks go through NCERT for SURE ..... there are things in NCERT which i found no where .. and what more in AIEEE we get questions from NCERT direclty ... So i recommen NCERT strongly ... cheers

but for JEE .. I believe NCERT is not enough....
i recommend...
physics...H.C.Verma
ORG.CHEM.......O.P.TANDAN
INORGANIC..J D LEE(NOT SURE BUIT I BELIEVE IT IS USEFUL).I USE IT!!!?
