invest some money, create a college, make 2 lakh ppl give the test, and select 2000 ppl only
and voila :D ur own personal IIT.

wonder why i dont hear of IITians hitting it worldwide big, or winning a nobel prize.
Hmmm, maybe so intelligent, they enter another universe :) not accessible to us humble beings/

Well , IITs are good but I wouldn't put them in the same league as MIT etc.
Academic facilities don't come just with money , you have to be a reputed coll.I am talking abt tie-ups and all.
Hardly Indians win Nobel Prizes , so no use blaming the IITians for it.Besides in IITs , mainly undergrad is all hyped up.And you can't really expect undergrads to do any path-breaking research.
Most ppl passing out of good engg. colls are really not interested in research;they'd rather get a good job/start a company.
But why the sudden outburst against the IITs?? :)
