how is mahe manipal?

|
manipal is ranked at some 40 odd position in ratings for best technical colleges of india.....it is a fairly good college with average salary around 3 sumthing and lowest around 2.1 lakhs.....The faculty is good{as told by its some students}....campus is good too...the only factor which goes against it is its high{actually really high} fee structures which often leaves a deep hole in a commoner's pocket............its seriously not advisable to invest around 2.5 lakhs a year in college of fair standards, unless u are born with a golden spoon............so its better not to join this college if u get a seat a seat in other good college............but if ur left with only manipal as an option..........u can go for it......

well it really depends on how much u r willing to shell out as ur fee is on d higher side in manipal....the placements are btr than most nit`s.....companies lyk sclumberger,laing-o-rourke,microsoft,google,yahoo n all come 4 recruitments...highest arnd 13.5 lpa and avg arnd 3.2....go to manipal if u dont get into good govt college or a good private college

manipal is ranked at 27 by latest dataquest magazine.....has gud faculty...very gud placements.......asssum infrastructure.......
but it isa bit costly...but quality comes ata price...so if u don`t get iit,top nits,bits then ur next option should b manipal......

investing 2.5lakhs a year....i think u are exxagerating too much on this...it depends on your performances....if u get good cgpa s during the course of study u can get freeships always....so the main thing is talent is always supported...eventhough its a little costly...

Hmm , I don't think all those big names came to Manipal.
Some1 had posted this from the Manipal website sometime ago.It gives the details of the Placement Scenario there.

@bits360...
wat ur talking abt. is an old document....c most of the top companies like schlumberger or honda or sierra atlantic and all which come to bits pilani also come to manipal...but yeah not all of them..(lehman bros or shell dont come....) but its packges are far better than many nits....but yeah definitely bits pilani is lot better...but after bits...manipal is the best private college in india....better than thapar or srm or daiict or vit...its just bcoz of high fees and nri quta the college is not as popular as bits...nowadays all top companies like google, yahoo, novellus recruit students from there....so if u study well...u will have great prospects...u can also try for internships in foreign universities....

definitely....but as i said u need to be serious with ur studies....enjoy but study a lot....try for internships....or join mba coaching centres if u want...
