Isnt anyone dere to help me. Cant anone see my helplessness. I have been posting this question for the past two weeks and not a single person has replied. I have only a week left to make a decision. Atlest now someone help me. Isnt there anyone to hear me.Where have all of u gone. Please help this is my last cry for help. Please

ece nit calicut is better coz bits hyd is newly strtd me bieng a resident here don feel dat its dat good but ece calicut has been established ages ago.and if u r intrested in mech den hyd could be a nyc option.

Difficult to say I should say. Had it been Pilani you should have opted for BITS straight ahead. BTW the results aren't out yet, how can you be so sure? What is your AIR and BITS marks?
I would say weighing all and keeping everything in mind, going in the BITS line might turn out to be more rewarding. However the choice is really difficult to make.
NITs are not considered to be better, who said so. BITS are better than most NITs and BITS Pilani is better than any NIT. There are NITs which don't even figure in the top 100 engg colleges of India.

also ... much of the faculty is from IIT .. the infrastructure as some of the seniors were saying is also excellent

i liv i n hyd n hu said dat da staff is frm iit?if u wanna enjoy lyf den dats da best .n hu said nits rnt bttr dan bits.bits pilani is da onli campus wich is bttr dan ne nit. hav u eva seen ne nit?neways its upto him.bits hyd is newly setup.

IS SOMETHING GIVEN IN BITS OFFICIAL SITE FROM WHERE U FOUND WAT RU GETTING?

BITS Goa is probably better than at least 12-15 NITs.
At 1940 AIR and 290 BITS. It is a tough call.
AIR
IIIT Hyderabad
NIT Warangal CS/ECE
BITS
Pilani MSc IT
If you are lucky some BE at Goa
I would say IIIT Hyderabad is a good bet. However Pilani MSc IT isn't bad either, anyway I say IIIT Hyderabad.

widout any doubt....go for NIT-calicut... it will be netym bettr than BITS-hyd ... as its quite establishd (unlike bits-hyd) ...

My personal advice 4 u is that u must go for BITS Hyd. if u r really getting, since u r frm same city & also its a damn gud institute since it has BITS tagname . I am not sure that its faculty is frm IIT or something but one thing is definitely sure that they have few gud faculty members of BITS Pilani Campus being posted there so u should definitely take that. If u r looking for better branch than mech. that is ece if u have a gud CGPA in first 2 semesters u can also get dat. Now its ur decision wat 2 do but again i wud say take bits hyd.

Faculty in ALL BITS Campuses are mostly PHDs from:
1)Abroad(many)
2)IITs/BITS(max)
3)One of the TOP 20 Colls.(lesser)
4)From the Industry/Have very great personal achievements(lesser)

And this is for the new Hyd Campus , which doesn't have any higher degrees as such.
You'll have some probs with Campus life , as you'll be the first batch.But we are confident that BPHC will do better than 1st batch in Placements( http://www.bits360.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1197 )

Foriegn Univ selections( http://www.bits360.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1225 ) as compared to the Goa Campus.
