Help ! BTECH ( Aerospace/Avionics) at IIST or CSE at LNMIIT

Engineering Entrance , JEE Main , JEE Advanced

I hav got admn in LNMIIT CSE. I have also been shortlisted for counselling of IIST for B.Tech ( Aerospace or Avionics) The counselling is on 18.7.08 . I have also recd Counselling letter from Nirma . I am also expecting RGIPT call after 15.7.08 . Pl guide what to do as I have to deposit non refundable fee to LNMIIT before 20.7.08

AFAIK you can't compare the two. IIST is much much much much ahead exept that it is for research.

IIST for sure...coz u'll get a job for sure...lol....nd it is a very gud institute...nd u'll be a part of the elite jee selected "geek" club....lol

i cant really guide u regarding iist...but be sure that u r interested in da branch u take and the future prospects of dat branch.. no doubt iist is an excellent institution...but i can also tell lnmiit is a gud option though it lacks as much popularity as iist njoys... but v r pretty hopeful for a gud popularity n prospects in the coming future.. da decission is solely yours dude!!!! all the best..... go with wat ur mind says...

i find many people sayins iist is a great institute.... but may i please pose a question.... how many people knew about iist till last year, when extended merit list wasnt there in picture only. well i dont deny, its certainly a good institute..... but on what basis can you all compare iist and lnmiit?? how can we say iist better than lnmiit????
the areas dealt in both these institutes is entirely different...
closing at a rank of 13.5k this year..isnt it obvious that lnmiit is a good institute???(please do remember the doubled no. of seats in this institute and competition it faced from new iits, bits hyd and new admission procedure in nits..)
as i already told its solely your own interest!!!
