people have the IIT selections from delhi increased this year???whats your opinion??I will definitely rate you all

hey i dont think so.....this yr....there have been better results frm the bombay and kgp zone...as compared to previous yrs...i have hrd....so for maintaining the balace...it has to be lower in some zone naa.....

no they haven't still kota rules........................... you can check the selections of bansal,resonance etc then you compare it with delhi \ maybe you feel that coz more ranks are given so you would have found more delhi people too like of other cities too well people are prefering to go to iit d or iit b for overalldevelopment for mba

Maharashtra has indeed done well this year compared to the past.
Mumbai,Nagpur, Pune, Nashik.....all cities have some people within the top 100. Till last yr, not more than 6/7 peolpe were in the top 100 in IITJEE. This year, there r at least 20 persons from Maharashtra in the top 100 & about 50 people in the top 300 AIR.
Agreed that out of 121 that figured in the top 300 AIR from the IIT-B region, the balance 71 might hv largely come from Kota.
Traditionally, few people from Maharashtra/Goa/Gujarat go over to Kota for trg. The bulk there comes from Rajasthan, MP & a few other states.
I gather that abt 10-12 people from West BengaL r in the top 500 AIR in IIT. Though it is not an impressive performance , it is better than the record last yr.
