hav u gone crazy manipal stands nowhr near iits and bits
placement is good at manipal
overall its quite good but it does not come in elite inti.

hi friend..manipal doesn"t even come near iits or bits...if u r serious abt getting into a vry good institution,manipal is not for u,otherwise its ok

guys,just dont look at the placements...there are other dimensions u should look at while considering for admission into any college...like the infra,faculty ,alumni, research facilities...tech fests....
everybody irrespective of the college has to study but what makes the elite insti 's different is their extra curricular activities which develop our personality.....
One more thing i would like to mention is that"Why do software companies hire students from branches like mech,elec.in premier colleges" and others...the reason is that they want people who are willing to work hard....the skills required by the companies are not there in the syllabus....all guys irrespective of branch have to undergo training.....
So there is no need of comparing the IIt's and BITS with Manipal
