Wen i saw the status i was horrified becoz everone ahed of me had registered e1 those getting in iit so dere is no us egoin for it as i think the real status will on the day of oncampus counsellin hope u agree wid meeee

hi esaxena...jus hav a luk at the or -cr of 2006...u wud get a fair idea....of wat u can get.....off campus counselling is crap...

but i dont think one can simply neglect this by saying that it is crap....its a part of the counselling procedure and u cant proceed further by skipping it...isnt it??....what do u say frnds??

Actually, It is not crap.........U just need to interpret it correctly.......
.....When u r alloted a seat in the indicative seat matrix, u can consider urself to move upto 50 seats (depending on u r state) in your choice considering the number of students who would go into IIT and not attend CCB Counselling

hey srikanth...if v hav 2 interpret so much...y is this off campus counselling required...last yrs or-cr wud b enuf....the scenario is nearly d same each yr...ppl joining iit..this and tht...all this happenz every year...its not happening only dis yr...
and
@ nigeria_sms...i think u r thinking ...tht this off campus thing is related 2 d on campus.......thts y i said u can skip d off campus....
when u wil go 4 the main on campus....counselling.....nthg lik documents or sumthg regarding this off campus counselling wud b required...i hope i got the rite thg...and u also got it

Actually, OR and CR matter if u r trying for admission in u r own state NIT.......for others they dont matter because there are not more than 2 seats for every branch and the OR and CR for these will change rapidly.......
OFF campus counselling will only familiarize u with the procedures.......
The same interface will be provided for u on the day of counselling......

This thing does not give you a clear picture. Wait for the real counselling to start.

yup........... the offcampus counselling is useless becoz i noe atleast 3 students above who qualified for IIT JEE, still they r not absent in the status column.................actual counselling starts frm 7th July 4 me.......which is oncampus online counselling........

seriously THIS OFF CAMPUS THING IS A REAL BOREDOM....can't get the real picture.....everyone and anyone wants to fill up for all the seats.......at state rank-549(maharashtra) i am finding my self not even getting in useless places..........
AND TILL NOW I HAVE NOT UNDERSTOOD WHAT THIS 'MATRIX' THING IS .......I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO ACCESS IT........
