go for vit....huge exposure over there.....and its improving very fast this yr companies like slumberger are also going to come to vit

vit n thapar are allmost at equql status infront of the outside world.......but looking at the pace of vit ....i think vit would be a better option.....my suggestion .....where ever u get better stream join there..........

In Ranking Thapar is at no. 4 and VIT at no. 7,so its your choice where you get branch of youe interest there should you go

vit is a much better option.......the fees of thapar is unnecessarilly high..........vit gives much more oppurtunities......do u know 30 people from mechanical last yr got to go abroad to a german university for their last semester..........the infrastructure is awesome......only one private insti . beats vit....that is bits..........thapar is also awsome.....but vit is no doubt better

Dude check out lnmiit.ac.in . best faculty(of IITK ) so best quality.....CS and Electrical only branches...so more foucs on them....last years aieee ranking (4200-8800).......so academically quite challenging....try considering this too+ top 25 students each year are sponsored for an International internship as well...so thats great..

don know much about thapar......but vit rocks....no doubt about it ......infrastructure.....oppurtunities.....facilities....student quality.........people with 8000 air in aieee are also joining vit.....only thing it is quite far.....so if u r a north indian ......thapar would be more prefferable i guess.....but again vit is much much much cheaper than thapar

Both are good, but what is your AIEEE rank. If it is in 4 digits, then think of better places like LNMIIT, Jaipur.

if u have got vit then go 4 dat if u r getting iiit then only leave vit. it is a gud institute

thapar any givn day....if u are talkin abt a insti wid top of d line placements[not 4 ppl who think VIT HAS TOP OF D LINE PLACEMENTS...IT HAS avg placements but thapar is much btr],global name..research outputindustry interface,alumini base,student quality et al ....i guess thapar shld b ur choice ...dude thapar ki closin rank durin my time was arnd 12k in EEE...now MOST ppl in vit dont have ranks like that....thapar,daiict and bits r mayb the only private instis[m nt sure bout PSG...hav no idea bout it] in d country havin a good student quality...

see dnt believe on anyone make ur own mind there is no doubt that vit is better than thapar but when u count distance factor then only thapar can leave behind vit , otherwise no chance.

Thapar is a better option than vit ; but if u r getting a better branch in vit then u may go for that.

But definitely Thapar is a better option.

VIT is nothing infront of thapar.

Actually VIt is the worst engineering college in india..Even worst then colleges like Ankush INstitute of technology..

i dont know why even without having proper knowledge abt the word college , some people tries to be the councellor. u simpally can't spread rumour abt any institute without any proper and strong reason. keeping these ppl at bay take ur own decision.
