hey guys, can anyone tell me how mass communication is in jamia??

prefer other institute(i do not know the name of other universities)
my neighbors sister is in the same university
this is her opinion
u can get their admission if and only i u r of Islamic religion

its a minority instituition, i agree, but believe me, its just infamous because of the jamia skool students who get in thru quota who hav made it bad. and their %age is very less.....dont forget that its a central university and thats why the entrance is held at the national level......its not easy to get thru 1 thing that is bad is that theres an inteerview after clearing the entrance, and here alot of sources are required....that makes it bad........its engg dept supposed to be one of the best in north india.....so says my aunt who is a part of the dept of science and technology, govt of india....all in all, its just underrated......mass media there is amazing.....its given pass outs like barkha dutt!!!!

read the whole thing patiently.....i mentioned the answer in the end...it has given pass outs like barkha dutt, srk and many other good journos(true srk is no journo, but u see why he adresses the media so well).....as far as mentioning abt the engg college is concerned, i just thot this was a nice opportunity to clarify regarding this common misconception that the engg college isnt good......and just one more thing, it doesnt have mass media at the grad level.....only at the post grad level.....the quota thing can really cut u down.....so if ur really interested in joining at the master's level, then consider grad studies there itself, though arts and comm faculties there suck...
