Like all other IIITs, LNMIIT has a university status, and therefore does not need AICTE approval.

LNMIIt is a deemed university. just like bits,pilani , iiits.. it doesnt need AICTE approval

Like BITS, Thapar, JIIT etc LNMIIT has Deemed University status. I don't know about its course accredition though, JIIT for instance as course accredition from AICTE although it is a deemed university.
