Civil is a conventional engg and is currently booming with good oppurtunities. Either you can get mech at a lower institute or civil at a better institute. What are your ranks?

Yeah I want to study mechanical . You are right "akshaytalwar2".In fact I too think whats the point studying it in lower institute .So I guess I have to go for civil in the better one . And I searched through google I found that the mechanical courses like structural and fluid dynamics are also in civil but it has more application in environmental mechanics.Lets see what the expert have to say so that I can know the future prospects and field .
