dear friends i got thru jee dis year, but cuz my rank was very bad, i hav been alloted MSc (chemistry) at ISMU Dhanbad. i want ur views about: --> is there any point pursuing a MSc couse(i mean future scopes) can any one give me sum data about where the students from earlier batches were place, with wat packages,etc, etc --> MSc course that too from a mining college my score in bitsat is 285, is there chances that i get sumthin at pilani??

wht is ur aieee rank??? at 285 in bits it seems difficult to get an engineering branch...

u will surely get something in bits goa.. try for that.
msc from dhanbad wont be a very good option

U might just make it to BITS-Goa, U will be stuck with some MSc Course there too. There is a saving grace :u will hv this option of doing a dual course in Engg there.
If u go to ISM, go with an intention of doing a PhD later on from the US. Just a plain MSc wd not help.Are u keen on doing a research in Chemistry ?
What r the options u hv ? AIEEE ? State level Engg Colleges ?

There is chance that you maight make it to BITS Goa. So keep your fingers crossed.
ISM Dhanbad as of now, isn't a very good option.
Research isn't the only option after MSc. You can go for a teaching job also. Who knows you might be teaching future IITians.

dont go for msc at dhanbad
i ve been told to stay AWAY from msc courses at dhanbad or bhu
its not worth doing
so i ll advise u the same

yup...i wd suggest u the same....dont go for msc in ismu....rather wait for bits ...the waiting list is till 260...so after the consequent iterations...u may eventually get thru.... bst of luck....rate me if u are satisfid wid my answer....
