both d cllgs r definitely very gud...nit trichy is supposed 2 b d best nit & bits pilani hs it's high brand value..
& also u don't hv any particular interests..so
1.E & I is definitely better than civil esp nt many girls opt 4 civil,so it depends on u which way u want 2 head..
2.u stay in tamil nadu so trichy might b nearer 2 ur plc,bt if location is nt a prob then i wld suggest u 2 go 4 bits!!
placements r gud 4 both d cllgs & bits is a pvt institute so definitely i don't think u shld doubt abt dere faculty & infra..

look ... u cnt compare the 2 branches in ne way ?? i mean can u compare wt is better history or physics ... u cnt ... both have equal opportunities and packages etc. are similar .. u acnt demarcate .. yes at grd level eni placements will be better nd civil job is more tidious ... but still both branches are equally respected .. u cnt put civil > eni in ne way or vice versa itz just a matter of stupid perceoptuion from ppl which changes everyday ..
as both coleges are gud chose between the either ... wt interestes u holds highest .. but if u r rlly scared abt concept of extreme tidious job then take eni

yupp!!
& civil is a booming field no doubt,it's just our way of percieving things..bt dis gal hs no particular interests & i hv myself seen dat nt many girls opt 4 civil coz of it's tedious workout reqd..else everything's gud..ppl do opt biotech,metallurgical eng,nuclear & al,& gt placed in gud companies..so placments r a factor i feel depends much on d person's efforts though d institute & branch matters too..

abe tum jaise llogo ki toh bhed chaal hoti hai kal koi kahega ki VIT Mech Goa CSE se better hain to tum phir se doubt mein aa jayoge .......
but i guess tum jaise logon ke liye hi aise forum bante hain :D

abhi tumhe E&I mil gaya Goa mein thank GOD for it abhi agar sirf chem mila hota Goa mein then i think u would hv preffered it over Civil
(Umeed se jyaada mil jaaye toh aadi bokhla uthta hai :P )

If you are really interested in civil, take it at NITT. Else, if you think you can go with any branch, E&I at BPGC is a wise choice.
