i wud comment on each branch rather than rate them , u can see for yourself, which suits u better:
cs (great scope but its scope fluctuates with usa market)
eee (evergreen branch, can get entry into software also)
IT (too wide a field, will need pg after it)
mech (evergreen branch again but lesser scope than eee)
chemical (evergreen branch again but sometimes hazardous conditions to work in)
mechanical and automation (better future scope than mech)
instrumentation control(dunno much about it)

i wud prefer eee for u as u being a gal will have a comfortable job in an evergreen branch unlike cs whose scope can fluctuate.

rest is your decision

many ppl tell me ece is better then eee
they say dont go for eee (perhaps its not evergreen)

ece stands for electronic and communication
eee stands for electrical and electronic

well, biotech is one of the hottest branches of engineering coming up
future prospects are great:
u will have comfortable job (research oriented)
good pay etc

but take it if you have interest in biology and chemistry.
else u might repent after taking it
if u have interest in them then grab it wid both hands

tarun yaar i am actually a medical stdn and crazy for BIO
but the thing is that i have AIR 64k in aieee and can't BIOTECH in IIT or DCE or NSIT or NIT so i am confused over the clg for which i am eligible at this rank, having good placements in BIOTECH.
can u suggest me some which come under HAYANA or PUNJAB??
