have u guys encountrd a suddn increase in your choice status. for me NIT trichy ECE was showing 54 in the evening. now it has become 1200.
also in NIT Durgapur(WB) ECE my status shows 179. my rank is 148(WB state rank). so how can it be 179??
i say thr is somthng wrong with the server.

now they are using the proper software according to new procedure, these figures are national.. earlier it was older software and only ur state students were considered.

I opted for IIIT-H and nit-t ! In fact, iiit seems more gettable now than nitt cse !!!

chetan, r u sure abt that? but even that does not explain my NIT Durgapur status. since i am fm the same state, only ppl of my state shud be competng with me.

ccb has mentioned nothing about the numbers.. and except for BIT, mesra all figures are national.. i've state kar SR 314.. but even civil at surathkal has more than 1000 ppl..
you are competing in both ur state quota and all india quota..

yaar there is a tremendous increase in the number in status column...............in my profile for nit trichy it went upto 632 from 56
