what should i choose pesit (banglore) eee or nit silchar cs/mech...my aieee rank was 19365 and state rank 83 and in comedk it was 1001..i guess i hav no other option at my rank....my bitsat score is 244

NIT Silchar is crap, don't even think about it. AFAIK PESIT is much better.

No, there is no point of a useless NIT, at least I don't think so that it will help you much within India. Employers know the value of the institute and NIT Silchar is definitely not in the Top 100. With that rank you have many better options available. Much better options.

option like what???i was shown nit silchar ece in indicative list...and u get somethin even worse in main councelling as many  mr ppl will participate

Indicative seat is not accurate at all. Try for LNMIIT if you get it. You have already missed ur oppurtunity with JIIT. If you scrap through PEC or Thapar or DCE though you may not, just grab it. You should get NIT Surat Raurkela etc with Civil.

PESIT is a verv good college way better than nit silchar

the campus of pesit is outstanding

its pretty famous in south india     

if u ask me i wud suggest u 2 join pesit

PEC Thapar etc are anyday recommended just in case you get through.

If u r state nit is gud u will get it with air u WONT GET A GUD ONE {ATLEAST A GUD BRANCH}
