How can i go 2 Nasa thru IIT or any othr entrance test ? Also name a few entrance tests thru which I can directly go to NASA n become an Astronaut

You can't go to NASA directly from IIT. IIT just offers you a degree, while NASA offers a job. If you dream to join NASA as an astronot then opt for aerospace engineering from IIT. After finishing your degree you will have to fight for that job

Thanx Is tder any other steam than aerospace which can make me suitable for NASA i mean that can a mechanical engineer b a part of NASA serving as an astronaut??????????????????????????????????????

If you want to join NASA you hav to get citizenship of US. And there are lot more things from written exams to interview.

My personal feeling is that why to join NASA and give our talent for pride of America when we hav gr8 space agency like ISRO.

arey, im gonna do an internship there if i go to USA next year.
for a better chance u need to have completed a degree from a top notch US university... and the NASA space lab is in CalTech acmpus (California institute of technology).
ur offered internships with microsoft and nasa and when u graduate u have the opportunity of working with them and proving ur mettle.

all streams are applicable man, robotics, comp science, comp engineering, mech, civil (not too sure), electronics n electrical etc. all have their departments there

thats given only to a few ppl

space mein nahin jaana yaar.. dharti maa se pyaar hai mujhe...
and anyway for becoming an astronut u don have to join nasa if thts wht u wanna become.. u just go to space from the nasa space station and have ur training there. for astronauts i dont know the process.

Well , there are many BITSians in NASA.One of the most famous one is Kanna Rajan .He will be visiting BITS-Pilani Goa Campus tomorrow(27th).

BITSIAN leads the software team that lands a spaceship on Mars.

Computer engineer Kanna Rajan ('84) team that developed the software for Spirit. For
Rajan's years of hard work, the moment of truth was when Spirit rolled off the lander
platform. The Rover will drive around the planet and scoop up rocks for experiments,
guided by the software that Rajan and his colleagues developed. Rajan is the second
Indian from the University of Texas to hit the headlines in recent times. The first
was the late astronaut, Kalpana Chawla. Kanna Rajan is a member of the Planning and
Scheduling group at NASA Ames Research Center . He holds a BE (Hons) Computer Science
from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India and a Masters from the
University of Texas, Arlington both in Computer Science. Prior to joining Ames he was
in the doctoral programming Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical
Sciences at New York University . His primary research interests are in Planning,
Robotics and Knowledge Representation.
