as per my choice manipal is the best in terms of medical stream
the engineering stream in manipal is developing a lot now a days
in vit they pull the money from ur bag easily and even both the institutions are said to be known for their ragging
i am sure as my cousin studied medical in manipal university
hence the best choice is manipal
see dud i attended the counselling on 13th and was left only with printing tech so i didn't took admission
but there i came to know that the placements of manipal r not gud
vit is a better institute than manipal itself
vit has also been ranked in top 10 this year
so u shud go for vit

as far as i know the infrastructure of manipal is next only to iit kharagpur.
but i dont have any idea abt vit?

look mate it is simple vit is a better option
Reasons...
1 Much better environment of study and much better student quality.
2 much more exposure to industrial world
3 research scope is better.
4 fees is unneccessarily high in manipal. think about your fathers hard earned money.
placement is pathetic in manipal................in their website only they have advertised that the best company that recruits from its campus is tcs.........this itself tells u the whole story.

i have enough reasons to support my answer.............and besides in front of general junta ..if u say u r frm manipal people tend to think of u as bade baap ka bigda hua aulad...............
where as vit people are considered as example of success manily because of the support of media that vit has.
you will feel this thing in ever area of ur upcoming life.

well manipal students are not upto the mark.......vit students are much better in terms of academics.
so if u join vit u will be in much better company...........but if u join manipal .........there u will see that people with 80k and 1lakh ranks in aieee are sittnig there. so u might face some frustration........and dont worry about placement, infra, research etc... it is better or at par with manipal...........
