regarding iiser and iist

None

please tell me what r the future prospectus of iist and iiser through iit eml . Is it better and prestigious to join these institutions rather than to join nit for mech. ,civil, chemical etc.??????

my aieee rank is 6782 sr-1001(raj) which is better pec or nit

see yaar if u r interested in research then iist is the way but if u want to do mba then it is not worth it and read the admission policy on their
www.iist.ac.in it mentions that you will be under a 5 year bond with
ISRO....

with your rank joining NITs/Thapar/PEC has much better oppurtunities. The avg package even of IT BHU < 4lacs. With all the institutes you have mentioned you may ruin your career unless you strictly want research.

i hv read the bond of iist but space fascinates me a lot
do u hv any info abt what one is able to do in isro except research (like astronauts)

I doubt on a future for the masses. The toppers over there might be able to get something. I would suggest some Bachelors from a good place in India and do masters from US in space etc.

Chances are extremely bright after doing BTECH from IIST and MS from IISER.

Ask any guy of IIST (search in orkut) and ask him about the prospects.

If you want to know anything about IISER, ask me.

Last year no one got in IIST with eml, but many got in IISER with eml.

This year expect the same.. hopefully you may get in IISER. However note that the demand for iiser is greater than last year.
