Hi frnds i have not performed well in my engg exams....but i am getting admission into a good college pf my area...

After engg i wish to pursue an Ms in the US...so i wanna ask does the college from where u graduate have any effect your chances for admission..

 for eg. if an NITian and i contend for the seat then automatically will he be given higher prefertence??

So thats why i think i will drop a yr and get admission into a good college next yr so that i have a good foundation????

4 studing in US u hv 2 get good score in ur GRE . better search 4 it  .if u sail thru it i dont think  u ll hv problem. n if u hv more talent n perform better than a student of NIT,no one can stop u.ALL THE VERY BEST.
