My friend has his BITS on 23rd
But he has got 79 inPCM..so he has decided not to give BITSAT...
is he doin rite...what shud he do??

this is a very debatable Q. yaar......i think he shud still go and give the bits once.......isit tht the centre is too far frm his house orsomthin.???????? i guess he shd still have a go.........(i know its gonna play on his mind all the time during bits).........
leave alone BITS i know a group of my frnz along with me who belong to the maharashtra state board and we are not evn sure of an eligibility for JEE!!!!!!! for our board corrections are too terrible to ensure a 60< percentage .......
i still firmly believe that he shud have a go at the exam........

i hav also got 79 in PCM n my paper is on 28,i hav consulted some people,they say u should prepare for it wid full confidence,u can get it,tell him not to loose hope........

Then what abt the 80 p.c. eligibiity

If i do one thing...if i apply for reevaluation and i get more than 80 but i dont give BITSAT this yr (after applying to it) and the give it next yr.....then willl that be my first or second attempt???

giving BITSAT next yr it wud b ur last attempt,,,i wud say u shud apply for revaluation and give BITSAT atleast u wont have regret,,,so dont loose hope yaar,,,this depression thing is very very bad so u shud not lose hope and prepare for exams,,,i wud like if u read the story of this years' IAS rank 2,,he got his rank after 3 attempts,,thats a really hard work

who knows whether he can get selection or not.....but why not try it.......atleast he should try......dont loose hope before giving the exam
