cut offs will no doubt come down this yr.

reasons r-

1)no of students getting high scores is lesser compared to previous yrs
2)seats in iits have increased
3)seats in bits too have increased
4)bits hyderabad is a new campus
5)admission in top nits is thru all india ranking so top scorers may prefer top nits over bits hyderabad

actually in rare cases the cut off MIGHT come down to around 220+-. However expecting around 240 is a rather safe bet.

it will touch a lower limit of 250 probably, not lower than that

some of my views :

1)no of students getting high scores is lesser compared to previous yrs

no use, hardly anyone is taking it, all are takin refuge in BITS

3)seats in bits too have increased
this will cause hyderabad to start from a lower cutoff, the cutoff for goa may fall, pilani may stay stationary.

4)bits hyderabad is a new campus

5)admission in top nits is thru all india ranking so top scorers may
prefer top nits over bits hyderabad
very true
rajasthan/delhi crowd is being diverted

At 273 you are sure to get BITS - but it depends on your prefeence list. If you have only CS, they you may not get it.

according to me last cut off rank won't be more than 230-240

my marks are 290 and I have opted cse/eee/mec/elec in all the three campuses. what are my chances
