telecom sector is very good


u shd go for it


if u are getting in top college


its a nice branch nd nice prospects


but it also depends on ur other choices available

hi nandinis_7

telecom sector has great potential in India. u can enter it immediately after ur engg. but my advice wud be to go for n MBA. its even better if u go 4 n MBA in telecom...u can also choose to wrk with mainstream operators like Vodaphone, Airtel, etc. or u can also in for tertiary services like VAS..big recruiters r Mauj, Hungama, IMIMobile...with a phenomenal indian growth rate more n more companies will put up their flag in India.
if possible, log on to the official website of the economist (magazine). in its april or march issue, it gives n indepth info on the growth of Telcom in India
