hi all...plz help me out wid this.... i hav the following options....plz select the best one.. 1.PUNJAB ENGGG COLL (PEC) -aero/metallurgy 2.THAPAR UNIVERSITY-CHEMICAL 3.NIT JAIPUR/ALLAHABAD-CHEM 4.HBTI-COMPUTER SCIENCE/ELEC .. GIV DUE CONSIDERATION 2 D RANKING OF COLLS...OUT OF THESE COLLEGES...the best according 2 outlook is PEC then NIT ALLAHABAD...then HBTI then NIT jaipur and then THAPAR... plz help rating assured

chemical isn't in much demand,same is the case with metallurgy.If i were in ur place i would b going with HBTI-CSE.

yes ramya u r rite,i dont know about HBTI but u yrslf gave it a higher rating than thapar and NIT jaipur.so i thought it must b good and hence i suggested it to u.CSE in an institute better than a NIT(according to u)must be a good option.

i think so ...as i heard from different sources.
Remya why dont u go for CSE ??
DONT EVER COMPRAMISE UR FAV BRANCH FOR GUD cOLLEGES>>>
In technological world , CSE is the better option and as now world is becoming more and more modernised , it has now become important to have atleasat a degree or so in CSE because of the folowing reasons:
* Most competative field
*People who take are highly paid !
*Interresting too- have better scope of taking research and thus increasing our educational qualification.

hi ppl...thx 4 d response....hbti is rated higher than nit jaipur,....hbti is on 21st among top 100 colls...nit allahabad on 17th...branches tht i hav mentioned r those which i wil b getting according 2 my ranks..so shhud i go 4 hbti...final???

if u don't have an unusual interest in chem or mettalurgy,then yes go for CSE HBTI.also check once the institute's placments as rankings may give a wrong picture sometimes.all the best.

i don't why u ppl are mad abt. CSE...if u had taken CS in 11th & 12th than u know better wat it is all abt. ...if u think u are one of ther sharpest mind arnd. than only go for it..otherwise drop the idea ..here .better will be EEE ..where competition is less...and i prefer it over CS..

hello fardewaals.....dont u think ...those who get a rank worth cse obviously they r the sharper minds if not sharpest......cse obviously has better scope....nd the world runs after the best....

hi...CS is preferred over most of the other branches coz its the easiest stream available nd u r sure to get a job.......
but if u ask me its an oversaturated field so i dont personally like it that much moreover u hav to think out of the box to go ahead in this field coz there is sooo much competition whereas in the non-conventional fields its easier to survive nd move ahead but everything depends on ur personal interest.If u like CS then u shud go for it but if not then chem mnnit,allahabad is better
but in allahabad its a new stream added only last year(i know this coz i did join mnnit last year in biotech)

hey ramya go for nit allahabad it has got 180% placement (last year it was given in toi) it is one of the best coll of india

so nitish and abhi say....nit wid chem????.....but abhi dont u think one shud enter into a field wid more competition and more scope rather than a field wid less scope......wat do u ppl say bout the ranking...ranking wise its NOT lik NIT is far better than HBTI....NIT ALLAHABAD on 17...HBTI on 21...wat do u say now???

it was just an advice ..as a friend ..if u think u can survive there...go try!...
..see, my rank in aieee is gud enuf that i can get cs somewhere..and in jee too i can get CS IN IT-BHU..
but i will not ..even if my rank would have been better (500 arnd.) i would have certainly not taken CS..in any case...

tht is very much UR dislike 4 cs.....i wud probably get cs at hbti if not tht elec.4 sure...i think u got sum probs wid computers in skool itself.......i think frm merely skool knowledge v hav little idea bout wat btech is lik...so as far as i feel...v cant judge a stream wid tht mere skool knowledge
