it was my 7th choice.i didn't get electronics in any good nit.my state doesn't have reservation.

ITS NOT NEAR U R STATE AND U COULD GET SOMETHING BETTER

ANYWAY THE COLLEGE IS A VERY STRICT ONE {MAIN PROB}  TEACHNG & PLACEMENTS R GUD

ITS VERY FAMOUS IN TAMIL NADU .  WAS THIS U R FIRST CHOICE

u could have tried 4 other groups in the nits

i got chemical @ nit warangal and my air is 5600 .my friend also took chem  his rank is 5662

do u know how is chemical engg

then it looks like this ones the best choice through aieee

its much better than all the oter private institutes offered through AIEEE

A foolish decision. You could have got CSE in both LNMIIT and JIIT both of which are much better than SASTRA, there is hardly a comparison in fact. These are developing faster than most colleges in the country and expect them in top 20- 30 in another 4 years. Already they are within the top 40.

i studied in ap until i saw lnmiit in the list of institutes in the site of ccb i never knew such a college existed

SASTRA IS VERY FAMOUS IN AP &TN

in tn it is the best after some colleges like anna university nit psg  etc.....

since ur parents werent willing 2 send u 2 ranchi theyll not send u 2 jaipur as well

if u werent going 2 compramise on the grp u made the rite choice

Just because you haven't heard of LNM doesn't mean anything. It is very new, that is why. LNMIIT is much better than SASTRA, SASTRA is probably like top 60-70 or so material while LNMIIT is like top 35-40

SASTRA does not compare with LNMIIT and JIIT. SASTRA is not a good college, nor is LNM, however LNM is at least decent while SASTRA is at best acceptable. Good college = HBTI or above

sastra is a gud college & i know a few ppl who study there & are satisfied 

My definition of decent is top 50 and sastra does not come in top 50. Besides, if Thapar is good but IIT is better and if somebody is getting both and he takes DCE instead then won't you call that person foolis? The difference is easily as much if not more..

dont know mch abt SASTRA.BUT can say abt LNM since i received its brochure.

it has .iit kanpur faculty.estb last year by LN Mittal but very costly.
