Is life in IIIT-H difficult ?
I wanna prepare hard for jee 09 for which i have already started doin that. Will life in IIIT be very taxing such that i'll not be able to prepare for iit-jee 09 ?

Life at IIIT H is not tough but busy as you have to do study more, lot of assignments/project etc. So forget about preparing for JEE 2009 there. In fact even people who want to go for MBA also avoid going to IIIT H as practically there is no time for any thing else there except to cope up syllabus/regular study there.
Any NIT may be better option than IIIT H if you want to try JEE 2009.

don't leave IIIT H if you want to do MS or MBA. It could be a great brand to show there.

I would say take IIIT H and forget about IIT. It is not the end of the world. IIIT H is very good. It is only coming up. With all these reservations and new IITs, IITs will only go down. Later you might end up regretting your decision.
Stick to IIIT H.

if u r seriously started studying for targeting jee2009
& your this year rank says that u can easily get under 1000 rank next year
then u should join top nits if u able to get it
& joining iiit means forgetting iit's
so the choice is yours!!!!!!!!!!!
tell me what have u decided????????????????//

if you want to study for iit then nit t may be a good option, however i don't think that it is required. u r giving one more hectic year. Plus don't screw ur college completely, in case you need to stay in there. If you have studied like crazy these 2 years then it is not necessary by studying this way you will get through iit again and even if you do that your rank will give you anything much better than iiit cs. please do consider it.
