friends and seniors pls help me.one of my friends told me that BIT mesra is not a good place to study.it seems that the jharkhand students at BIT ranchi harrass the other state students.it also seems that BIT ranchi does not have certain basic facilities like projectors,etc.

i've been alotted ece at BIT ranchi in the off campus counselling.pls tell me,is it worth taking it??

it is not in top 10, more like top 15-25, and i don't think so that is bcz of payment.

i agree with vinyas. i hv never heard of any harassment.

ragging is strict no-no.

and i hv sen the best working projectors in BIT Mesra itself.

hey so sad to hear that but am sure that the info. is completely wrong

i am enrolled to BIT mesra CS, (from karnataka) and i hav visited the college and i hav even visited NIT-K. and i believe that the campus infra., facility, etc. WAY BTTR THAN NIT- K & W. so rest assured u r in safe hands. the administratin is very STRICT so dont worry about the ragging or any kind of harrasment.

and wat i suspect is that the info. that has been given to u, by ur so-called FRIEND, was actually determined to get into BIT mesra and hence he wanted make a seat for himself .  

and also plz dont give headings like   "truth about BIT,ranchi!!!!"

plz put a question mark in the end since u r not sure abt the TRUTH so the heading should be

hi dude i assure u dere is nothing like that in da campus although i am not a student of bit mesra but still da reputation of college built over years says it all..................one of ma frens brother is in bit mesra cs final year he tells me about da healthy environment over thare so don't worry..........................

mayb u didnt read the last line he wrote "is it worth takin it?"

so in that case i had compare it to let ppl understand, its really sad to see that reputation of BIT is not gud enough as it should be among the common.

and also i didnt mean

BIT is bttr than NIT W, i can say its bttr than NIT W only in the case of infra. and facility

but in the case of faculty mayb NIT W is bttr than BIT. i cant decide that as i havnt studied there yet.
