also i wanna know more abt civil engg.....i mean its scope,packages ,subjects 2 be studied in it, its minus points etc....

I am not sure of the order. Mostly all four NIT's are the same. If you want check this site for rankings:

Well for civil, it is an everlasting field. That's what my dad said. It has always been a primary field ever since engineering began and still is. IT has just sprung up recently. Especially, if your doing in NIT it's really awesome.

you should take nit ham eletricals.But if you wanna take civil its placement is around 7 to 9 lakhs.

but bro karan...i've heard dat such big pacjg in civil is possible only for a student or 2....i mean watz its average salary??

its between 6 to 7. but you are geting electricals in nit ham man, y r u thinking of civil?

i suggest tht u go fr electrical in hamirpur...take chemical in jaipur only if u have taste fr chem.....civil guys have less salaries thn electrical ones..so go fr electrical branch..

Most of the NITs u mentioned are same on the rankings...I think u shud join the one in whcih u r getting electrical....donno abt civil in NITs bt in DCE the civil packages for the past 2 years...hv been in 23-40 lpa margin...its an evergreen branch and it is getting hotter by the day...here is the link....check it out....http://dce.ac.in/news/SCAN0017.php

hey hi...well accordingto me all nits are more or less same so u shud go for branche wise priority...first elec then mech then chemical and then civil...in case u have oliking for a particular branch then au can go for it as welll
