if ur not very much interested in cse then u should go for dce mech, infact looking at all three colleges u shud go for dce.

NIT Calicut > DCE > BITS

n if u dnt hav a prefernc 4 CSE then DCE without doubt

BITS CSE>NIT Calicut CSE>DCE Mech

Quite the contrary. Placements of DCE are good. However faculty is pathetic, crap, absolutely useless. DCE = Placements + Intellectual capitual

Don't expect syllabus or faculty etc at DCE.

please dont join calicut its nowhere near good

bits hyd i m Very unsure about and i wudnt have joined it

DCE mech used to be best branch in all over asia at one time and still holds a Exceptional track record

I would have gone there without a doubt

my preference wud be

DCE MECH>BITS HYDERABAD CSE>NIT CALICUT

dce mech is one of d best...though bits hyd too hs gt dat brand name,bt again a new campus..

& as far as placements in dce r concerned,don't u wrry abt dat..it's quite surprising dat inspite of dere poor infra,faculty dere pay packages r awesome esp dat of mech..u might hv read in d brochure dat last yr highest offered ws 45 lakh by hughes 2 a mech student..yes if studies & al r a concern then go 4 any of d other options!!
