what should i choose pesit (banglore) eee or nit silchar cs/mech...my aieee rank was 19365 and state rank 83 and in comedk it was 1001..i guess i hav no other option at my rank....my bitsat score is 244

if surathkal is ur state NIT you may get it. However on AIR rank Surathkal won't go that low. However KKR, Surat etc should

what else are the choices you have. Frankly speaking NIT surathkal is very good, do you have a doubt on that? If you get civil or better there just take it. Is it ur state NIT?

i m not getting nit surathkal..i m not from karnataka....well i can get in bit mesra...but may be civil...so wat should i choose...bit mesra civil or pesit eee wch is likely to get upgraded to ece in next councelling or silchar ece/mech??

if i by chance get metallurgy in top 5-6 NIT...should i take them or should i go for ece/mech in silchar or pesit eee or bit mesra civil???

You may not get anything over there except for Polymer which is useless.

If you get BIT Mesra Ranchi civil then that is much better than PESIT EEE, no comparisons. However I don't think you will get it. PESIT EEE is better than anything in NIT Silchar. So do you have any more choices now.

With your rank you can hope for Civil in these 4 good places though you are likely to not get it or skip by a small margin: Thapar PEC DCE BIT Mesra Ranchi

You should be able to get Civil in NIT KKR Surat Durgapur etc. Probably this could be your best overall bet.

Civil in BIT Mesra and all is better than Mettalurgy in NIT Warangal at least in my opinion. BIT Mesra Thapar PEC DCE are behind just 2-3 NITs, the recent are less than equal to them.
