jab ek baar aadmi chori karta hain, uspar fir vishwaas rakhne ke pehle ham das baar sochtein hain
becuz of ragging, poor lecturers and stuff SVNIT was almost ruined, though it might be the best, ppl will still think 2wice before joining

I have 14000 AIR and Maharashtra State Rank of 700. I am interested in NIT, Surat. I am a girl. I have also heard abut poor infrastructure and ragging in the college. Pl. write about the Hostels conditions now and also about ragging.
What is KVPY ? Whether NIT,Surat is better than Jaipur and Nagpur or of equal level.

Afaik NIT Surat is at best below average to average amongst NITs. Av salary for Electronics there is around 2.5 lacs which ain't great either.

and the ranks suggested by the likes of outlook and india todays is not to decide an institutes status
