My friend would like to know if u can answer GATE and pursue m.tech in aerospace eng. after doing a

My friend would like to know if u can answer GATE and pursue m.tech in aerospace eng. after doing a full time polytechnique(3yrs) diploma in mechanical eng. after 10th.And how long will it take if possible do u have to start frm b.tech then or what pls help.
