Apply Componendo-Dividendo ... for all d fractions,

you get a/b = b/c = c/d ...

which means they r in GP.

Applying componenedo and dividendo

we get

2a/2bx=2b/2cx=2c/2dx

canxelling out x

therefore they are in GP
