Triangle ABC has AC=BC and  ACB=106o.M is a point inside the triangle such that MAC=7o and MCA=23o. Find CMB.

we have (solving)
angle angle ABC + angle BAC = 180 - angle 106
as ABC and BAC are angles opp. equal sides they r equal...so
angle ABC = angle BAC = 87
angle BAM = 87 + 7 = 94 .
angle BCM = 106 + 23 = 129
angle ABC = 87
therefore angle CMB = 360 - ( 94 + 129 + 87)
= 50 degrees

Since angle ACB=106, and AC=BC, ABC=BAC=37. hOW DID YOU GET IT AS 87?

hey spidy .. u hav messed up a lot of things .. i do not think ur solution is correct .. infact .. i am not able to do it .. the triangle seems to b well defined and yet ... i donno .. i am trying it out .. will tell u as i get it .. cheers
