(1+x + 2x2 + 3x3+.............+ nxn )(1+x + 2x2 + 3x3+.............+ nxn )

the coefficient of x^n is 1*n + 1(n-1) + 2( n-2 ) .....( n-1 )1 +n*1

= 2n + [k=1 ][n-1] k(n-k)

= 2n + n
[k=1 ][n-1] k -  [k=1 ][n-1] k2

on simplifying it becomes 2n + n(n-1)(n+1)/6

= n( n2 + 11) /6
