If iz3 + z2 - z + i = 0 where i = root(-1) & zis a complex no. then distance of z from the origin is
 
A) 1/2 unit         B) 1 unit        C) 2 units        D)  root(2) units

iz3 + z2 - z + i = 0

i z3 - i2 z2 - z + i =0
 
i z2 ( z - i ) - ( z - i ) =0

( i z2 - 1) ( z - i ) =0

z = i or z= ( -i)

In both cases | z |=1

So the answer is (B) 1 unit
