if z1&z2 are 2 non zero complex no.ssuch that /z1+z2/2=/z1/2+/z2/2,then
(a)z1z2' is purely imaginary                    (b)z1/z2 is purely imaginary
(c)z1z2'+z1'z2=0                                    (d)o,z1,z2 are the vertices of a right angled
                                                                   triangle
pls answer with explanation
here ' represents conjugate

just do it by applying knowlege of vectors..

/a+b/ ^2 = /a/^2 + /b/^2 + 2/a//b/cos@ ...

now frm given equation u see tht...

2/a//b/cos@ = 0...

so cos@ = 0

@ = pi / 2... where @ is angle b/w vectors...

now ..see the options..

we know arg(z1) - arg(z2) = arg(z1/z2) = pi/2..

so vector z1/z2 is purely imaginary..

now solve others a) d) r also correct..

the ans is "c" coz.../z1+z2/2=/z1/2+/z2/2+z1z2'+z1'z2
