dis one frm progression

in da sequence 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,5,5,5,5,5..........where n consecutive terms have da value n, the 150th term is?

I am getting 150th term=16.
Am I right? I think I am.

Well we know that sum of n consecutive natural numbers is n(n+1)/2.
As the series is made by n consecutive natural numbers,
put n(n+1)/2=150
U will get 16.8...
The answer will be [16.8] where [.] means greatest integer.
Hence the answer is 16.
