it is equivalent to find the distance between two points (2,2)
and (3,1)
just use distance formula
thats what i feel

consider the x axis as the real axis ....and the y axis as the imaginary axis ...
then the above complex nos. can b written in co-ord form as :
(2,2) and (3,1)
and by distance formula ......
u get the answer as root 2 ...
