roota/rootb can be written as root of(a/b) only if a and b r positive rational nos..(a can be zero..)

here u cant put root for the whole thing as root -1 is an imaginary no..

am i rite??do correct me if any mistake is dere..:)

$=\sqrt{\frac{1}{-1}}=\sqrt{\frac{-1}{1}}=\sqrt{-1}=i$ .............this step is a mistake....

$\frac{1}{i}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{-1}}$

$=\sqrt{\frac{1}{-1}}=\sqrt{\frac{-1}{1}}=\sqrt{-1}=i$

In the above step ,

consideration has been made of only the positive sign of root

I would go like this

$-\sqrt{\frac{1}{-1}}=\frac{1}{i}$

Thus what i want to say is that $\sqrt{1}=1 as \ well \ as -1$

and in this case it is -1 but you have considered it to be +1
