ok fine bro,
2^n factor in the ans is obvious.
just look at the other part.
2,4,7,11,16................
or
2
2+2
2+2+3
2+2+3+4 etc
2+3+4... can be added up by the summation formula if we add and subtract 1
so{ 2+[(n^2+n-2)/2]}2^n
upon simplification u get the ans
