e^(-pi/2).....................take i =e^(pi/2)............ur questn now becomes...............e^(i^2)pi/2...............and i^2 = - 1......................hence d result.....................hit like if it hlpd

 i=0+1i

cos theta=0

sin theta=1

 therefore theta=pi/2

r=1

i=1e^(i pi/2)

i^i={e^(i pi/2)}^i

    =e^(i*i pi/2)

     =e^(-1 pi/2)

     =e^(-pi/2)
