...write this as..
2^y = 2 - 2^x...
now take log..( any valid base ..lets take e..)
ylog2 = log ( 2 - 2^x)..
y = log ( 2 - 2^x) / log2..
thus domain consists of those x ... we 2- 2^x > 0 ..
it means x<1...
thus domain is (-infinity , 1)...

2y = 2 - 2x
take log on both sides
ylog2 = log(2-2x)
y=log2(2-2x) ...........( i think u got this step loga/logb = logba)
Now for log to be defined,
2 - 2x >0
that implies 2x < 2
That implies x belongs to (-inf,1)

2x + 2y = 2 => 2x-1 + 2y-1 = 1 now both the terms are positive so 2x-1 < 1 => 2x-1 < 20 => x-1<0 => x<1. dont u think this is simple.
