I got the same answer but the given  answer is ,  .

If we take x E 6.35  between   +-6<x<+-7  (or any number(number present in  ) then   F(x)=1/0  , so it is not defined int hte interval u gave .

+-=plus minus

HOW , [|x|-1]<-5 is possible, before this step there is mod then we r taking [|x|-1]<-5  and [|x|-1]>5 . plz explain!!

Dear, it is correct.

For example, consider the following

If we are given 

 

then removing the mod sign, we have

x<(-5) and x>5. In fact, if you are not satisfied, then you can put the values and see. You'll find that the condition is satisfied.

 

This is how we solve the modulus function.
